HOW WE HIRE

A hiring process as unique as our team

Whether you have a background in tech, strategy, or creative innovation, we believe you have the potential to create lasting impact here. That’s why our hiring process is thoughtfully designed to uncover your strengths and see how your aspirations might align with the Wizard mission.

Our process prioritizes finding mutual fit, and typically has five stages:

  • Application

    To start the conversation, simply send us your resume and a short blurb telling us why you’d be excited to join Wizard—we’ll review them both and get back to you. No keyword-stuffed resumes or lengthy cover letters needed.

  • Preliminary screening

    If we like what we read, we’ll set up an intro call between you and our Head of People to get better acquainted with your background and goals.

  • Hiring manager interview

    After the screening, you’ll meet with our hiring manager for your first in-depth interview.

  • Skills-based assessment

    We’ll give you an assessment in the form of a practical challenge or exercise so we can better see your skills in action.

  • Final interviews

    The last stage in the process, you’ll meet with our senior executives for a comprehensive evaluation.

For Engineering and AI interviews, we’re paying extra attention to well-crafted solutions, top-quality code, and strong teamwork skills. If your problem solving methods are unique or innovative, we want to hear about it.
